Affiliation with and accreditation by the IACBE have been extremely valuable experiences for the department. When we talk with prospective students, we now proudly say that our business programs are accredited by the IACBE, which is a distinction that adds luster to programs that were already among our strongest. I recommend involvement with the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education to my colleagues around the country—it is an organization that builds quality for your business programs and your institution (Dr. Robert S. Badal, President, Jamestown College, Jamestown ND).

As we prepared our materials for IACBE accreditation and met with the staff members, I was impressed with the organization’s vision and mission. Ozark’s association with the IACBE has made our business program even better. I am proud that the University of the Ozarks is a member (Rick D. Niece, Ph.D., President, University of the Ozarks, Clarksville AR).

IACBE accreditation not only affords our institution an impressive mark of distinction, but gives us access to invaluable tools for continuous improvement—and we couldn’t be happier with both the experience and results of being awarded specialized accreditation (Dana Mohler-Faria, President, Bridgewater State College, Bridgewater MA).

Today’s students and employers demand an education model that develops useful skills and a system that requires the student to demonstrate that they can apply the learning in the real world. IACBE accreditation asserts that those needs have been met (Terry P. McMahan, J.D., President, International College, Naples FL).

Our university is goal-oriented and driven by a strategic plan. That is our culture. The IACBE approach, oriented toward outcomes assessment, complements our efforts perfectly (Dr. Shomir Sill, former Dean, School of Management, Purdue University Calumet, Hammond IN).

The IACBE is the type of organization that many of us who have outstanding business programs in small liberal arts colleges have desired for years. It ansers our needs. I urge my colleagues from other small liberal arts colleges to look into becoming members of this organization (Sister Charles Marie Brantl, Ph.D., past Vice-President for Academic Affairs, Albertus Magnus College, New Haven CT).

Finally, rationality and sensibility has come to business accreditation. The IACBE offers a reasonable and fair method of evaluation based on performance (James T. Noonan, Ph.D., past Chair, Business Administration Department, Fitchburg State College, Fitchburg MA).

The accreditation process of the IACBE allows our institution more opportunity to be creative and innovative in the design and administration of our business degree programs. The barometer for our success is through outcomes assessment rather than input requirements (Louis A. DeGannaro, J.D., Dean, College of Management, Lawrence Technological University, Southfield MI).
