Seminar Description
This seminar focus on advanced topics in outcomes assessment. Mastery of these issues allows you to take your outcomes assessment process to the next level, thus benefiting your students.
Topics covered in the seminar include:

- Improving operational effectiveness
- Assessing the personal development of students
- Moving from one-time program-level assessment to multi-point integrated assessment
- All about rubrics: why use them, where to find them, how to develop them
- Why faculty should love rubrics
- Keeping the outcomes assessment process on track
- Managing outcomes assessment data
- What is “the loop,” and how do we close it?
- Reporting outcomes
This seminar is for you if any of the following is true:
- You have attended the “Improving Student Learning” seminar and want to learn more
- Your outcomes assessment plan is in need of updating
- Your outcomes assessment process works--but not as well as you would like it to
- You have mastered one-time program-level assessment, but want to integrate assessment throughout a degree program
- You want to know more about rubrics
- You’ve been told that you “need to close the loop,” but don’t know how to do it
