Dr. Clara Munson
New England Region Representative

Clara MunsonDr. Clara Munson joined Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, CT in 1990, and is currently a full-time Professor in the Department of Business Administration and Management where she teaches management, human resource, marketing, and international business courses. She serves as department chair for the Accelerated Degree Program, serves on the Strategic Planning Financial/Capital Resources Committee for the College, and has held many leadership roles in the Albertus Faculty Assembly. Dr. Munson serves as Vice President for the IACBE Region 1.

Prior to joining AMC, Dr. Munson held corporate management positions in the apparel and health care industries. She continues to consult with companies particularly in the area of providing the State of Connecticut’s mandated Sexual Harassment Awareness and Prevention training program. She serves as a member of the Massachusetts Board of Higher Education Visiting Committee for degree-granting of institutions of higher education.,

In recent years, Dr. Munson has pursued her passion for foreign travel and explored the diverse foreign cultures of Kenya, Nepal, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Mexico, Brazil,
China, as well as several European countries. She has authored the chapter, “Teaching

International Business Management Kenya: Developing a Global Mindset” in the book, Study Abroad: A Path to Lifetime Learning.

Dr. William Forgang
Middle States Region Representative

Dr. Forgang serves as the Chair of the Department of Business, Accounting, and Economics at Mount Saint Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, Maryland.

John B. Duncan, Ph.D., CPA
Dean of the School of Business
Charleston Southern University

John B. DuncanDr. John B. Duncan is the Dean of the School of Business and Economics and Professor of Accounting at Charleston Southern University. Dr. Duncan received a bachelor of business administration in accounting and a master of business administration from The University of Louisiana at Monroe. He received his Ph.D. in Accountancy from the University of Mississippi, and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in South Carolina.

Before joining the CSU faculty in 2003, Dr. Duncan served as Assistant Professor of Accounting at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, where he held the John Luffey Endowed Professorship in Accounting. Prior to that appointment, he served as Dean of the School of Business and Director of the Church Finance Institute at William Carey College in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Dr. Duncan has also served as Assistant Professor and Chair of the Department of Accounting at Mississippi College in Clinton, Mississippi.

Dr. Duncan received the Outstanding Intellectual Contributions Award in 2003 for the College of Business Administration at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. His research has been presented at numerous academic conferences, and has been published in several leading accounting and business journals. In addition, as director of the Church Finance Institute at William Carey College, Dr. Duncan developed and presented a seminar entitled Managing Church Finances with Integrity.

Dr. Duncan is married to the former Susan Ganann of Carthage, Mississippi. The Duncans have fourteen-year-old twin sons named Daniel and Drew.

 

 

Dr. Meg Galligan
Great Lakes Region Representative

Dr. Meg Galligan served as chair of the Department of Business Administration at Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, West Virginia during the 2006-2007 Academic Year. Dr. Galligan’s primary teaching responsibilities are in the areas of marketing and business ethics. Her major research focus is on leadership development in single-sex environments. Her community service endeavors are related to specialized accreditation both internal and external to the University.

Prior to joining Shepherd, Dr. Galligan was a full-time faculty member at Penn State University, Mont Alto Campus in south-central Pennsylvania where she delivered courses in marketing, management and finance. During her 11 years at Penn State, she was a member of the Penn State Faculty Senate for seven of those years.

Les CrakkDr. Les Crall
South Central Region Representative

Dr. Les Crall is a Professor in the School of Business and Technology at Southwestern Oklahoma State University.  He has been at Southwestern Oklahoma State University since 1992.  In 2003 he was awarded the Bernhardt Professorship acknowledging academic excellence at SWOSU. He also was selected with the Weatherford Daily News Readers’ Choice Award in 2004, as the outstanding university professor.

He is currently the Associate Dean of the School of Business and Technology.  His primary teaching emphases are in the areas of legal issues affecting businesses and business owners.  This includes court procedures, contract law, tort law, commercial law and employment law.  He has authored numerous publications and presentations relative to legal issues effecting business.  He also serves as a consultant evaluator and member of the Accreditation Review Committee for the Higher Learning Commission of North  Central.  He is the SWOSU coordinator for the Reach Higher Program, aka the adult degree completion program.

Mr. David McNamee
Northwest Region Representative


Professor McNamee serves as the Chair of the Business and Leadership Department at Marylhurst University in Portland, Oregon. He is a Ph.D. Candidate at Gonzaga University.

Dr. Julia Underwood
Western Region Representative

junderwood 150wDr. Underwood is an Associate Professor and the Chair of Undergraduate Programs for the School of Business and Management at Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, California. Dr. Underwood’s specialty areas include assessing the impact of feedback and follow-up on customer satisfaction, and identifying and amending failure traits within women. Her industry experience with corporations such as BizBuyer.com and George S. May International enhance her expertise in the areas of the advancement of women in business, customer satisfaction, and organizational effectiveness. Dr. Underwood earned her B.A. from Cal State-Fullerton and her M.S. and Ph.D. from Califoria School of Professional Psychology.
