What does it cost to be a member of the IACBE?
Membership dues for 2008 are US $1,950 per year. Dues are payable in advance; therefore, dues for 2009 are due by November 15, 2008. [top]

How much does a site visit cost?
Site visit costs include the accreditation fee, honoraria for a two-person site visit team for two days, and transportation, lodging, and other expenses for the site visit team. The cost for a site visit within the “lower 48” states is normally between $3000 and $4000. Costs may be higher if multiple sites or complex programs are involved. What forms of payment do you accept for dues, conferences, and special events?
Payments may be remitted by check, by credit card, or by wire transfer. Checks should be mailed to the IACBE at PO Box 3960, Olathe KS 66063. Credit card payments can be made by calling 913.631.3009. Click here for wire transfer information. [top]
How long does it take to become accredited?
The length of time that it takes to become accredited depends on the institution. In exceptional situations, the process might be completed in as little as one year. Once a program becomes a candidate for accreditation, it has up to five years to complete a self-study and have a site visit. Most programs take 2-4 years to complete the process of earning first-time accreditation from the IACBE. [top]
Does the IACBE have a mentor program?
Yes. The IACBE will arrange, at your request, for mentoring through the accreditation process. Please contact the IACBE headquarters for more information. [top]

The annual conference provides an excellent opportunity to learn more about the IACBE and its accreditation process. It also provides meaningful “best practices” sessions where you can learn from experts in business education, and tremendous networking opportunities.
